New this Fall we have a class in Spanish (with Diosa Xochiquetzalcóatl), a horror writing class (with Pedro Iniguez) and a vignette writing class (with Sonia Gutiérrez). We also have the wonderful Lorna Dee Cervantes returning to teach Writing Like a Chicana, as well as Ernesto Mireles returning to teach resistance writing.
We also have the 'regulars' that make the workshop great, Juan G. Berumen, Rios de la Luz, Estella Gonzalez and Ernest Hogan.
The cost is the same. $100. We have slots available for a discount for those who need it, contact us.
Accessibility is the same, online and on the weekend in the morning so it won't interfere with work or child care schedules.
Don't forget about our presentations!
Presentations will happen for one hour before each class and will be addressed and engage all workshop participants. Fall presentations will be given by Scott Russell Duncan (workshop welcome and on addressing our community), Dr. Ernesto Mireles (on writing the Chicanx condition), Dr. Juan G. Berumen (on Indigenous Identity), and E.G. Conde (Indigenous Futurisms).
